The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, sent a message this Sunday to the world and to the United States (USA), in which she ratifies the peaceful vocation of the Latin American nation.
Through his Telegram channel, Rodríguez pointed out that Venezuela “aspires to live without external threats, in an environment of respect and international cooperation. We believe that global peace is built by first guaranteeing the peace of each nation,” he said.
In this regard, he highlighted the importance of “moving towards a balanced and respectful international relationship between the United States and Venezuela, and between Venezuela and the countries of the Region, based on sovereign equality and non-interference”, stressing that “these principles guide our diplomacy with the rest of the countries of the world.”
Rodríguez urged Washington to work together with the Bolivarian country “on an agenda of cooperation, oriented to shared development, within the framework of international legality and strengthening lasting community coexistence.”
“President Donald Trump: Our peoples and our region deserve peace and dialogue, not war. That has always been the predicament of President Nicolás Maduro and it is that of all of Venezuela right now. That is the Venezuela in which I believe, to which I have dedicated my life. My dream is for Venezuela to be a great power where all Venezuelans and Venezuelans meet in good terms,” he stressed, reaffirming that “Venezuela has the right to peace, to development, to its sovereignty and to the future.”
