Women who have called for invasion and sanctions against our country cannot be classified as Venezuelans, said the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

“This extremist is not a Venezuelan woman, who called for an invasion against Venezuela, against our territorial integrity, cannot be considered a Venezuelan woman; whoever delivers the Essequibo and who asks for an economic blockade against Venezuela cannot be considered a Venezuelan woman,” said the minister of hydrocarbons in statements offered to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

In this regard, Rodríguez criticized the leader of the extreme right María Corina Machado for being “hidden” and not showing her face to the Venezuelan people.

“The hidden drag, coward, as we told you, coward! , as well as calling for sanctions and the elimination of (oil) licenses against Venezuela. Show your face, coward, I repeat it to you a thousand times in the name of the Venezuelan women you like to talk about so much,” she said from the mobilization this Saturday to celebrate International Women's Day.

He also recalled that during the imperial criminal blockade against Venezuela, the role of women in guaranteeing food and education for their children has been exemplary. “We are made of blood, of strength, of the awareness of what national independence means; to take care of our national sovereignty and all the battles that the future holds for us as Venezuelans. The women of the country are in the front row there,” he stressed.
