Delcy Rodríguez: Those killed in combat between Cuba and Venezuela are heroes and heroines of Bolívar's Homeland

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Eloína Rodríguez Gómez, assured this Thursday, the sacrifice of the patriotic soldiers and citizens of Cuba and Venezuela who offered their lives in combat for the defense of the homeland on January 3.
“From Caracas, the birthplace of our Liberator Simon Bolivar, today I can say that our men and women who fell in combat are heroes and heroines of Bolivar's homeland. The brothers of Cuba, sons of Martí and Fidel, are also heroes and heroines of this country, because as one people they fought in defense against the illegitimate aggression of the United States!” , Rodríguez emphasized, in a solemn ceremony of promotions and decorations at the Eclectic Monument of the Military Academy of the Bolivarian National Guard (AMGNB).
He added that “weapons are to take care of the Republic, to defend our country, our homeland, our sovereignty, our dignity and our morals.”
