During the installation of the Expoforo Empresarial Venezuela Productiva 2030, this Wednesday, the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, warned the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Kamla Persad-Bissessar, that the Secretary of State of the United States (USA), Marco Rubio, is selling her “pregnant birds” regarding gas agreements.

“I want to send a message to a neighboring government in Trinidad and Tobago. There is a new prime minister who is being poisoned with 'pregnant birds' over Venezuela (...) Marco Rubio is selling pregnant birds to the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, a country with which we have gas agreements, to export the gas to her,” Rodríguez said.

He stressed that if Venezuela does not export gas to Trinidad and Tobago, “that country's economy will collapse and will impact the Caribbean,” so he recalled the consequences of the U.S. blockade of the PETROCARIBE initiative promoted by Commander Hugo Chávez.

“Look at how Haiti is. Well, they want to do the same with Trinidad and her pregnant birds. Because they sold him the false idea that they are going to take gas from Venezuela to give it to Trinidad. Do you think that's possible? Pregnant birds,” he stressed.
