Delcy Rodríguez: Today Venezuela sets an example of peace and Latin American union!

This Tuesday, August 06, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that Venezuela today sets an example of peace and transmits a message of Latin American union against imperialism.

“Today Venezuela continues to transmit and embody the Latin American and Caribbean union against hegemonism and imperialism, here we are fighting the battle and those lessons, so commemorating the Bicentennial of the Battle of Junín nourishes us for future battles,” said Rodríguez from the National Pantheon in Caracas.

Also, 200 years after the Battle of Junín, which completely sealed the independence of the peoples of South America, he emphasized that Venezuela has grown in its self-determination and sovereignty.

In addition, he indicated that he has had to endure the envy of hegemonic sectors that cannot bear the fact that we Venezuelans are proud of our heroic glories.

“We have historical envy and those empires that intend to continue to disrespect the sovereignty and determination of peoples. We must continue with peace to continue building a sovereign nation,” he said.
