The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, called on the People to remain calm to defend the Homeland, in national union, after criminal military attacks perpetrated by the United States (USA).
“We call on the Venezuelan people to remain calm, to face together, in perfect national union, that this police-military-popular fusion becomes a single body and that we come out of this wonderful stage of defending our sovereignty, of our national independence, we come out united as one body to defend our beloved Venezuela,” he said at an urgent meeting of the Council for the Defense of the Nation.
He stressed that they will take to the streets to defend the Venezuela inherited by the Liberator Simon Bolivar and “of the martyrs that have been sown in this sacred land to defend the dignity of a people that do not surrender, of a people that does not give up and that will never be a colony again of anyone either of old empires or of new empires or of empires in decline”.
“We are determined to freedom. What is being done to Venezuela is barbaric, besieging it, blocking it, it is a barbarism that violates all the mechanisms of the international human rights system that violates and configures crimes against humanity,” he denounced.
