Delcy Rodríguez: We ratify the AN as a legitimate and ideal space for political dialogue between Venezuelans

The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, welcomed this Tuesday the installation of the National Assembly (AN) for the new Legislative Period 2026—2031 and ratified Parliament as a space for political dialogue.

Through his Telegram channel, Rodríguez also congratulated the Board of Directors of the AN, headed by Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, as president; Pedro Infante, as first vice-president; and Grecia Colmenares, as second vice-president.”

“We ratify the National Parliament as the legitimate and ideal space for political dialogue between Venezuelans, based on respect, responsibility and the search for essential agreements for the well-being of the Republic,” he emphasized.

In this regard, he pointed out that the "National Executive will maintain an active and effective relationship with the Legislative Branch, in order to guarantee the laws required by the nation to guarantee peace, development and national independence”.
