Delegation of young revolutionaries participate in the Third Russia-Venezuela Youth Forum

A delegation made up of 25 young Venezuelan leaders, from different regions of the country, has arrived in the Russian Federation to actively participate in the Third Russia-Venezuela Youth Forum.

This meeting marks a significant milestone in dialogue and brotherhood between the new generations of both nations, said the deputy and general secretary of the Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV), Grecia Colmenares, in a publication on the red awning portal.

The delegation, which represents the diversity and potential of Venezuelan youth, has as its main objective to participate in an agenda full of cultural and social exchanges. The Forum is designed to promote cooperation in diverse areas of interest, building bridges of understanding and working together.

“We come to share all the experiences, exchange, cooperation and teamwork, because today more than ever we believe in a better world, but we are also building it. A world to defeat fascism, a world to realize the dreams of young people all over the planet,” he said.

For her part, the deputy and president of the Great Young Venezuela Mission, Genesis Garvett, from the Patriot Museum in Russia, stressed that “today we are in this space that vindicates the memory of the heroes and heroines who participated in the Great Patriotic War, who defeated fascism and freed humanity and that is why we must always vindicate this fact in the world and remember it forever”.

This event is part of the strengthening of the strategic alliance between Russia and Venezuela, highlighting the importance of strengthening South-South cooperation relations. In a world in transformation, both countries reaffirm their commitment to a new multipolar order, where youth play a leading role as architects of the future.

The director of the International School of Youth Leadership, Joan Contreras, also said that “there is a way to know the history and identity of this people without falling in love, of the enormous sacrifice and courage they have had with the whole of humanity. For this reason, today, we confirm our support, our brotherhood and sincere friendship of cooperation for the future with the Russian Federation.”

The arrival of these 25 young people symbolizes the vitality of our bilateral relationship. This forum is not just a meeting space; it is a hotbed of ideas and projects that materialize the shared vision of a more just, multipolar world with greater opportunities for our peoples. It is living proof that the youth of the Great Fatherland and Russia are building, starting today, the new world.

During their stay, participants will attend various activities, cultural visits and work tables, sharing experiences and good practices with their Russian counterparts. It is hoped that concrete initiatives will emerge from this forum that will further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The holding of this Third Youth Forum reaffirms the continued commitment of Venezuela and Russia to invest in youth talent, recognizing it as an indispensable engine for sovereign development and the deepening of a common strategic agenda in the concert of the nations of the Global South.
