Deltanates attended the II National Popular Consultation 2025 in healthy coexistence

In the framework of the Second National Popular Consultation 2025, the inhabitants of the Delta Amacuro state have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to participatory democracy.

“It's important for the people to participate. The projects are going ahead and we have already defined our project today. We each already know the project we are going to vote on and we will continue in this popular participation,” said Eustaquio Hernández, community spokesperson.

In this regard, he stressed that “It is very good that we as a people choose our own project, show the problems of our community and together we are providing solutions”.

It should be noted that the active participation of the Deltans reaffirms the state's commitment to building an inclusive and participatory political model, thus consolidating the power of the people as the central axis of community development.

The Second National Popular Consultation 2025, which takes place in more than 5 thousand communal circuits nationwide, allows citizens over 15 years of age to choose projects in key areas such as water, education, electricity and roads. This democratic exercise reinforces the model of direct democracy, promoting decision-making from the community base.
