Members of Congress from the United States Democratic Party met to discuss the actions of the Donald Trump administration against Venezuela.

The congressmen highlighted that these actions extended to several Venezuelan cities that carried out the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro Moros and his wife, Cilia Flores.

During the meeting, they denounced the lack of official information from the White House on this fact, to which they attributed the highest importance in their country's foreign policy.

In this context, a representative in the Senate and the leader of the House of Representatives of the Democratic Party issued a statement in which they asked the United States Government for a detailed report justifying the measure applied against Venezuela.
