Demonstrators in the United States reject military aggressions promoted by President Donald Trump against Venezuela

‎Bajo the slogan “Let's stop the war before it starts!” , thousands of American citizens took to the streets this Saturday in rejection of the military aggressions promoted by US President Donald Trump against Venezuela.

‎La mobilization denounces that the Trump administration “would be repeating the mistakes of the past” by justifying a possible intervention with unfounded accusations about drug trafficking.

‎ “Among the first groups supporting the protest are the ANSWER Coalition, People's Forum, Black Alliance for Peace, CODEPINK, Palestinian Youth Movement, Party for Socialism and Liberation, Democratic Socialists of America and Dissidents. In a statement, the conveners recalled that 22 years ago, the United States declared war in Iraq based on lies, and warned that the White House seeks to replicate this strategy against Venezuela, with regional implications that would affect the entire Caribbean and South America,” TeleSUR reported.
