Deportivo Táchira announced the end of the cycle of technical director Edgar Pérez Greco, after the completion of the 2025 season of the first division of Venezuela.

“We only have words of thanks to give you, teacher, your dedication and unconditional love for these colors will be kept in the hearts of all Tachirenses,” the Aurinegro club published as a farewell to the coach.

He also pointed out that the history of the Tachirense club will always be accompanied by the five stars “that you helped to embroider on our beautiful shield, three as a player, one as an assistant and one as a coach”.

“This will be your home, because you will always be an idol, an Aurinegra Legend,” he added.

Pérez Greco took over the Tachirense team in the final stretch of the 2024 season and won the institution's eleventh national title. In the current campaign, he participated in the Copa Libertadores, lost in the finals of the Apertura Tournament and the Venezuelan Super Cup and secured international space for 2026 .

Along with Pérez Greco, technical assistants Sergio Herrera and Alí Cañas came out, as well as physical trainer José Luis Campofiloni.
