Between Friday, September 20 and Sunday, September 22 , the seven matches corresponding to matchday 9 of the 2024 Clausura Tournament of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League) were played, taking first place in the standings on Deportivo Tachira.

Monagas FC beat Caracas FC 2-1, with goals from Christian Larotonda in the 55th minute and José Murillo in 66′ at the Brígida Iriarte stadium in the capital city.

For their part, Academia Puerto Cabello and Angostura FC equalized 1-1 at the La Bombonerita stadium. Raudy Guerrero opened the scoring for the locals in the 52′ minute and David Moreno tied for the visit at 87′.

At the Pachencho Romero stadium in Maracaibo, Rayo Zuliano and Metropolitanos FC also tied but with a score of 2-2. The goals were courtesy of José Luis Ochoa at 6′ and Luis Paz at 79′ penalty. For the locals Nicolás Fedor at 31′ and Marco Bustillo at 84′, for the visit.

At the Pueblo Nuevo stadium in San Cristóbal, Deportivo Táchira thrashed Inter de Barinas 4-1, the winning targets were scored: Mauro Maidana at 24′, Carlos Sosa At 48′, Felipe Pardo at 75′ and Roberto Rosales at 87′. Ángel Urdaneta made the discount at 41′

Meanwhile, Portuguesa FC equaled 1-1 UCV FC, at the Olympic Stadium in Caracas. The visit went up with a goal scored by Johan Moreno at 14′. While Nicolás Pantaleone for the locals managed to tie the match in the added 90+2′.

Sunday's matches ended 0-0, Estudiantes de Mérida vs. Carabobo FC, at the Metropolitan Stadium of the Andean entity and Zamora FC vs Deportivo La Guaira , at the stadium La Carolina, Barinas.

Táchira is at the top with 19 points, one more than Mérida who guards him, followed by Rayo who is in third with 17 points. While in the room is La Guaira with 16 units. The fifth, sixth and seventh places are occupied by Carabobo, UCV and Monagas, respectively, with 15 points each.
