Deputy Jorge Arreaza highlighted how, with the entry of heavy machinery and controlled demolition, the recovery of victims of the earthquakes of June 24 has increased, in partially affected or collapsed buildings.
“After the controlled fall, rescue efforts accelerated through the arrival and activation of machinery, human equipment, institutions and logistics. The families of the deceased are directly participating in the work and understand, better than anyone else, how necessary the controlled demolition of Tower C of the Torres Unidas Community Council, in the Hugo Chávez Commune, was necessary. No one is risking their lives to recover the bodies of their loved ones anymore.Regardless of ex officio opinions and bad intentions, everyone is doing their best, coordinating all actions, to ensure the rescue of people who died in such painful circumstances,” Arreaza wrote on his account on the social network telegram.
