Deputy Cilia Flores: Venezuela will continue to be a prosperous and serene state

The first fighter of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and member of the National Assembly (AN), Cilia Flores praised the commitment, courage and unity of the Venezuelan people to continue defending the country from all foreign attacks and aggressions that seek to end the peace and tranquility of the entire nation.

He reiterated that Venezuela will continue to be a prosperous and serene state. “We are in prayer and we thank them because those prayers and blessings come to us and not just today, they always come to us,” he said.

This was expressed in the Ayacucho Hall of the Miraflores Palace, where he participated in the Binational Prayer Meeting for Peace, led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

Flores stressed that on a global scale they ask that “since Venezuela is a besieged, blocked, threatened and attacked country, it has a people that continue its struggle and work, and that we are such a prosperous country and its people are joyful, willing to maintain their dignity, in Revolution. A lot of people don't explain it to them.”

In that scenario, he stated that the answer is because there is in Venezuela “a President who leads a people, there is a country project and we have a well-prepared and well-united Armed Force. We have an extraordinary people and they remain very aware”.
