Deputy Jorge Arreaza reported 8,616 full liberties

The deputy and president of the Special Commission, Jorge Arreaza, reported that 8,616 people have received full freedom as part of the Law for Amnesty and Democratic Coexistence.

He explained that the Special Commission registered 12,187 valid requests, with 314 people previously deprived of their liberty and 8,302 with precautionary measures, evaluated according to the criteria established by law.

Arreaza noted that, two months after the entry into force of the standard, these results constitute direct effects of the review process. He indicated that the initiative promoted by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez has made it possible to advance in the reintegration of thousands of Venezuelans.

The commission continues to receive requests from people inside and outside the country who express their willingness to rejoin national political life with respect for the Constitution and commitment to peace.
