The deputy to the National Assembly (AN) Nicolás Maduro Guerra assured that the
Bolivarian Government will continue to govern and guarantee maximum well-being to the Venezuelan people.
At a meeting of the Network of Jurists, held in Caracas, he argued that public management remains
focused on meeting social needs and strengthening fundamental services.
“They expected us to fall apart. The aggression could have created an internal problem, but they have no one to do their dirty work, because Venezuela is a country of peace, not of war,” he said.
In this regard, he pointed out that “we maintained the institutions, the historic ruling was given and at 11 in the morning of January 5, the National Assembly was installed and after the legislative power was constituted, the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez was sworn in, as required by the constitution and the ruling.”
He pointed out that “the tasks that concern us today are: maintaining unity to maintain the peace of the Republic, that the country continues to advance because we cannot stop (...) guaranteeing citizen peace and moving forward”.
