Deputy Maduro Guerra: Today more than ever we must guarantee the country's unity, peace and development

Assembly deputy Nicolás Maduro Guerra, at the close of an event where social movements and organized people in the fighting demanded the release of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, kidnapped by the United States, assured that the Bolivarian Revolution remains in front of the National Government.

“The people of Venezuela are mobilized to demand the release of Nicolás Maduro Moros and Cilia Flores de Maduro, today marks one month of January 3rd when the homeland was desecrated by a foreign army, which was marked as a scar on the face forever but which did not alter the country's institutionality,” stressed the son of President Nicolás Maduro.

He also stressed that this conflict is part of a historic struggle between US Monroism and Venezuelan Bolivarianism, which does not make us enemies of the North American people but of imperialism and its representatives.

“We invite the people of the United States to a constructive debate that allows them to choose the best model for each society, we respect that they have their model but we ask them to let us develop our country in peace, coexistence and deep love,” said the Chavista parliamentarian.

He added the strength, tempers and nerves of steel of the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, the sectoral vice president Diosdado Cabello and the president of the National Assembly in order to preserve the peace of the nation, strengthen the people's awareness of unity and ensure that Venezuela moves forward.

He affirmed that the Venezuelan people will remain in the streets with the truth and their heads held high, crying out to God and organizing citizens in defense of the freedom of the presidential couple.
