Deputy Minister Endes Palencia held a meeting of heads of the Peace Quadrants in Lara

This Friday, September 4th, the Deputy Minister of Prevention, Public Security and Peace Quadrants, Endes Palencia, held a meeting in Lara state with the heads of the Peace Quadrants.

The information was released by the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), in its account on the social network Telegram, where it states that the meeting with the heads of the Peace Quadrants of the different Public Security Agencies took place at the entity's Juárez Theater facilities.

During the activity, Palencia reviewed the effectiveness of the criminal incidence, as well as the operational deployment within the communal territory, with the purpose of strengthening the police presence through preventive patrolling.

He specified that last Tuesday, September 1, Palencia supervised the security device on the occasion of the resumption of air operations at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía.

In this regard, the deputy minister reported that this device will have more than 600 officials from different state security bodies, who “will guarantee the comprehensive security of the users of these spaces, as well as of the nearby hotels enabled in the state and the main roads between Caracas and the air terminal.”

In order to reactivate the service, approximately four operational simulations were carried out over the past few weeks, in order to evaluate passenger care, circulation and boarding procedures before the formal activation of the new scheme.
