Deputy Minister Endes Palencia oversees areas affected by earthquakes in El Junquito

The Deputy Minister of Prevention, Public Security and Peace Quadrants, G/D Endes Palencia, reported that an inspection was carried out in the affected areas to verify and control permanent routes through the temporary camps, in order to guarantee optimal conditions for Venezuelans.

In addition, he stated that these actions are part of the Venezuela Renace Plan, in a continuous deployment of the Venezuelan State, in compliance with instructions from the President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, and under the supervision and execution of the Sectorial Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Captain Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

He also highlighted that they are in the area with councilors and citizen security bodies, the constituent component of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Civil Protection (PC) officials, and firefighters deployed in the territory. He also noted that this has been an articulated and coordinated work with all entities, through which they treat all the people and victims who, in one way or another, suffered the attacks of this earthquake of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5, recorded on June 24.

“We find ourselves caring for our peoples, embracing our people and, above all, verifying what the fundamental details are,” he said.

He also stressed that several tours have been made these days through the temporary camps that are under his responsibility and that of the State in general terms.

He also asserted that special work is being done with expert advisors from the PC system, the Fire Department and international advisors, “that we have had here in our Venezuela, precisely to verify that the actions are in accordance with what is described in the different protocols.”

In another vein, the mayor of the Libertador municipality of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, thanked the citizen security bodies for their work, who have been active since minute one in all sectors.

“This thanks and recognition to the Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace and to all the Deputy Ministers who are active and deployed in the state of La Guaira, which was the state that suffered the greatest consequences of this double earthquake,” concluded the Mayor.
