Deputy Minister of Massification of Sports oversees preparation of the national hockey team in Lara

The Deputy Minister of Massification of the Ministry of Sports, Juan Carlos Amarante, paid an official visit to the Bolivarian Village of Barquisimeto in Lara state, to oversee the preparation base of the national hockey team that is preparing to face the next international competitive challenges.

The inspection of the preparation of the national field hockey team is part of the social deployment carried out by the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports in the states of Lara and Yaracuy.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister confirmed the conditions of training, nutrition and comprehensive care received by the national teams, who are undergoing an intensive cycle of preparation, according to the Ministry of Sports press.

“Attention to national teams is a priority within the country's policy of mass expansion and sports development, as has been the instruction of the Sports Minister, Franklin Cardillo, and the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez,” Amarante said.

In that regard, he stated that they are monitoring every detail of the athletes' food, lodging and preparation conditions.

Amarante reaffirmed that the Bolivarian Village will continue to be a “strategic center” for the concentration of various disciplines, consolidating the Lara state as a receiving power for national sports.
