Deputy Minister Palencia: “Carnavales Seguros 2026" device guarantees a peaceful return of seasonal workers

From kilometer 12 of the Centro Regional Highway, the Deputy Minister of Prevention, Public Security and Peace Quadrants, Endes Palencia, supervised the “Carnavales Seguros 2026" device for the return of the seasonal workers.

“We are carrying out this special activity in this space, supervising that our people, seasoners, vacationers and tourists, arrive at their destination without any kind of setback and completely safe,” he said in a note published by the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, on his account on the social network Instagram.

The device highlights the coordinated participation of various Public Security Bodies, such as the commander of Detachment 434 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), responsible for the Road and Land Traffic Safety and Assistance Service of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB).

In addition, Palencia indicated that the operation covers all three modes of transport; first, the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) deployed its staff on the street to strengthen operational and administrative work.

He added that in terms of air transport, 43 airports were enabled with a special device, in which the Autonomous Service of Registries and Notaries (SAREN) and the National Institute of Civil Aviation (INAC) intervened, which provided the corresponding register of 65 airlines.

He also explained that, in the area of water transport, supervision was carried out by the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA), which establishes regulations for each medium, such as ferries; as well as private boats that return from different recreational areas.

Palencia recommended for a safe return “the use of a seat belt, the revision of the mechanical system of your motor vehicle and respect for traffic regulations”.
