The Deputy Minister of Latin America of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Rander Peña, reported that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the Venezuelan People are represented at the Meeting on Migration held in Mexico City.

In his account on the social network Telegram, he pointed out that “we have brought the truth from the Venezuelan people,” he referred to the structural causes that have motivated Venezuelan migration.

Peña emphasized that the economy is one of the main causes, due to “the criminal unilateral coercive measures imposed against our country. Generating a loss of 99% of national resources.”

He also denounced how a migratory business has been carried out, which is promoted by a group of unscrupulous Venezuelans.

He also referred to the fight against both coyotism and all those criminal organizations. In addition, he reaffirmed his commitment to the agreements of the Meeting in Palenque, in which President Maduro participated, in October 2023.

“To every Venezuelan we say: Venezuela is ready to welcome every Venezuelan on their way back to the Homeland, together we can build the country we want. Our hug goes to the Venezuelan family, we'll see you at home!” , he said.
