The first vice-president of the National Assembly (AN), Pedro Infante, assured that Venezuela has received 18 licenses in the last 90 days, “thanks to the efforts of dialogue and diplomacy carried out by the president in charge of Delcy Rodríguez.”
During the press conference on the Great Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions and for Peace, he indicated that this is part of a great effort of dialogue and diplomacy carried out by the Bolivarian Government. “If sanctions didn't exist, licenses wouldn't exist,” he emphasized.
Infante also highlighted that there are 1,881 unilateral coercive measures, which have been implemented over the past few years, to harm the Venezuelan economy.
In addition, he specified that today the Venezuelan people understand that workers' incomes must be improved and they also want peace, “the people do not want more bombings.”
On the other hand, Infante stated that “a sovereign country, with independence, should not be subject to any type of sanctions that harm its economy.”
“We must know and know that Venezuela's main source of foreign exchange is oil and the vast majority of sanctions have been against the oil industry, against PDVSA (Petroleos de Venezuela) and against the Venezuelan financial system to damage the economy,” he stressed.
