The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), José Vielma Mora, assured that the Government of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, started a trade war that only benefits his country.

During her participation in the program Al Aire, which broadcasts Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Vielma Mora assured that Trump doesn't care about the consequences that increasing tariffs may bring to production in the rest of the world.

The deputy explained that tariffs should be used to protect the industry in the face of international demand, not to affect countries' economies.

Trump dictatorially imposed tariffs arbitrarily without first negotiating them with countries, which must be negotiated diplomatically and informed in advance if they are going to be increased so that countries can protect their production, there must be a joint agreement,” he emphasized.

Vielma Mora asserted that in Venezuela it is producing a productive economic fabric that is difficult, but that it is to protect the economy, production. “The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, complies with the Constitution and its various applications, such as states of emergency, which is a legal instrument of social order and protection of national security in all aspects,” he said.

He added that the Economic Emergency Decree seeks to protect different productive sectors of the country. “The nation has been growing significantly in the primary sector, achieving the best technology and genetics of buffalo cattle, as well as its largest herd in Latin America,” he added.
