The return of Venezuelan migrants from the United States has been part of a great negotiation, of the “sitting down and talking” of the two governments, said the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diodado Cabello Rondón.
“We have demanded seriousness from the United States government. They had to talk to the Venezuelan government,” Cabello highlighted during the podcast Sin Truco Ni Mañ a, where he stressed that to date, a total of 4,355 compatriots have returned from the United States.
He explained that of that total, 3,337 are men and 1,118 are women. “At first they only sent us men, we stood up and we demanded that women come too and that's why we've already passed a thousand,” he said.
In the same way, he pointed out that the National Executive is working on the formula to bring back migrants who are in countries, where governments do not allow Venezuelan planes to land.
“We are working on flights to Bolivia so that Venezuelans who are in Peru, in Chile, where the presidents are very jalabolas de los gringos. We have asked Venezuelans to organize themselves and go to Bolivia, we already have a group and when we have the full one we will go and look for them,” said Cabello.
