Diosdado Cabello: 2025 was the year of the fight against criminal gangs

During the year 2025, the State Security Corps and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces have fought fiercely against criminal gangs, said the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello.

“In 2025, we have carried out a systematic and systemic fight against criminal gangs. There has been a team that has worked together to attack these groups,” he stressed while explaining that in order to achieve the objectives, the different agencies share the intelligence they are obtaining.

In addition, during the delivery of 300 vehicles for security agencies, Cabello highlighted the need for joint work between these agencies for the defense of peace within the country.

In the same way, he highlighted the importance of civic-military-police fusion for the defense of peace and our sovereignty. “Our police forces, today, are part of the Combat Units against any situation. Every time the CEOFANB requires the participation of our officials, they join the URRA, anywhere in Venezuela, under the command of the FANB,” he explained.
