Of the 174 compatriots who arrived in the country this Friday morning, 142 are men, 24 women and 8 are children, said the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello.

During the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña, which he hosts with the deputy Tania Díaz, he indicated that among the returnees came a 17-year-old girl who was traveling alone, because her family unit was arrested and separated by the North American authorities.

“They were the father, the mother and three children, she is the oldest of the three children. They grabbed the father and sent him to one place, they grabbed the mother and sent her to another, to her to one place and they assume that the children are in another place, but they have no information,” said Cabello, while commenting that the teenager asked to return with her siblings, however, the request was not fulfilled.

In this regard, he repudiated that these Venezuelan children are being treated in the United States as “enemies”. “It's terrible, it's fascism. They see people as merchandise, as a business,” he emphasized
