This Friday, February 07, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, highlighted the importance of a revolutionary letting go of his egos, especially with the issue of social networks today.
“It seems that in a march it is only a march if they appear in the photo, if they make the report with their face, they forget the one that is low, I don't know if they want to become influencers, but before being influencers you have to be revolutionaries,” said Cabello during his Podcast Without a Trick or a Maña.
In that sense, he questioned colleagues who “believe that social networks are taking a photo or self-recording, or constantly taking out personalizing the message, I explain, it's not what I say, but who says it; it's like reporters from private channels who think they are the news and end up becoming analysts, who are not analysts of anything and end up destroying the news”.
He specified that personally he doesn't like to declare and when he does it it's because it's part of his responsibility. “I don't like going to interviews, I'm Montuno, I'm here because I have to do a task and I do it with humility,” he said and reaffirmed that networks are not just for taking pictures and the importance of letting go of one's egos.
