Diosdado Cabello calls on voters to activate Voting Defense Plan: This Town Voted for Peace

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, asked citizens to activate “once and for all” the so-called “Plan Defense of the Vote”.
Cabello Rondón, during a tour of the Altamira sector, Chacao municipality, highlighted that on the presidential election day of this Sunday, July 28, the People voted for peace and hope.
“These people voted for peace and hope, a free, sovereign and independent homeland and now the Bolivarian project remains undefeated,” said Cabello.
He said that the absence that is evident in Eastern Caracas is a reflection of the long faces of the opposition leaders at an impromptu press conference where they will say that: “they lost because they didn't win.”
He added that, while in this area of Caracas at six in the afternoon there is no greater excitement, in the west of the capital city a party is expected when the election results are announced.
