Diosdado Cabello: Detachment is part of the life of a revolutionary

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized this Wednesday the importance of the detachment that a revolutionary and revolutionary must have, just as Commander Hugo Chávez had.

“We are a team (...) those who have responsibilities do them well, if they don't belong to them, help the one who is their turn, with total detachment (...), detachment is part of the life of a revolutionary, detachment is the first dispossession of the ego; a revolutionary must be detached even with his life; we have the example, several examples, but the closest one is that of Commander Chávez,” he said.

He also specified that detachment must be an obligatory value for revolutionaries. “And you're not half detached, to be half revolutionary,” he said.

In addition, it reaffirmed the historic value of the Congress, since this is a space where proposals are debated and proposals are made to continue moving forward.

“There are parties where congresses are held and they don't make proposals, they don't move forward; that's why you see parties that are always the same faces, there's no renewal (...) Not here, everyone talks here, everyone thinks because that's the body created by the party,” he said.
