The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted this Friday that in the country, fascism is synonymous with the bourgeoisie, recalling the violent events that occurred on July 29 and 30, after the victory of President Nicolás Maduro in the elections.

During the installation of the World Congress of Anti-Fascist Youth and Students, at the La Carlota Convention Center, Cabello pointed out that on that date the fascism of the extreme right murdered 27 people, but “the people came out to stop it”.

He stressed that “fascism here (in Venezuela) is drawn, it is mimicked with the national bourgeoisie, so we call the last names of all our lives, those who think they own Venezuela, well not owners, administrators, because the owners think they are others and they administered it,” he said in reference to North American imperialism.

Cabello indicated that extremists, with the support of the United States (USA), “have tried in Venezuela to end our people, they persecuted us (...) those who lost the elections and don't know how to lose.”

He stressed that “when they win (the extremists) everything works, they recognize the electoral body, when they lose they come out saying that there is fraud, so I told them that fascism is disguised in a thousand ways, they become persecutors of their own people,” he warned.

In this context, he assured that in the South American nation, the People and the Government decided to face fascism. “They know that we are going to face them, Venezuela is a territory of peace, of tranquility,” he emphasized.
