Diosdado Cabello, during his Con El Mazo Dando program, reiterated his rejection of the insults against Venezuela on the part of the Government of Colombia, which he asked for prudence in his statements regarding his drug trafficking problems and the inability to combat this scourge in his territory, which place him as the largest producer of cocaine in the world.

“You have to answer because you have to answer this, don't blame us for what's happening there in Colombia, throw away whoever wants to throw it away, but don't justify that with what you're saying about Venezuela, because I haven't seen the first news that says that in Colombia they confiscated 32 tons of drugs being a country that produces them,” said Cabello, referring to the statement issued by the government of the New Granada nation that blames Venezuela for its problems with the scourge of drug trafficking.

Regarding the fight against drug trafficking, he regretted that most of the institutions in that country, the largest producer of cocaine in the world, are in the hands of mafia politicians and paramilitaries.

He recalled that in the fight against drug trafficking, Venezuela has deployed more than 5 thousand members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), plus the police and seized more than 32 tons of drugs by applying a tourniquet to drugs that leave Colombia for the United States.

The Colombian government is making this scandal to try to pass “under the table” the change of its Port Manager linked to drug trafficking, so it asked for prudence in this matter, taking into account the amount of precise information about networks dedicated to drug trafficking provided by Venezuela to the Colombian authorities and the police of that country do nothing. “What's more, they tell him to leave,” he said.
