Diosdado Cabello stressed that this Thursday, “marks one more anniversary of January 23, 1958, it is the last betrayal of our people.”
“May this be the last betrayal of the People of Venezuela,” the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) reiterated this Wednesday, January 22, during his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 512.
He stated that on that date, “in the year 58, those who conspired to kick up the struggles of our people and gave it a bombastic name: Pacto de Punto Fijo”.
In that sense, he commented that this name is due to the fact that the house of the then president Rafael Caldera was called, that “no one is going to blame people from beyond Punto Fijo”.
“They gave it that name, but in truth it's the New York pact, it was signed in New York, here they came to strike to make them believe,” he said.
