Diosdado Cabello: Leopoldo López hasn't been Venezuelan for a long time, he has another nationality

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the customary red awning press conference, reiterated that traitors to the Fatherland will be treated as such, placing special emphasis on the proposal to remove the nationality of the ultra-right Leopoldo López, following his request for a foreign invasion of our country.

In this regard, he explained that the Constitution of Venezuela refers to the duty of compatriots to protect and protect sovereignty, while noting that in order to have Venezuelan nationality, “the first thing you have to feel Venezuelan, to love this country.”

He pointed out that the initiative to reiterate López's nationality is due to the fact that he “hasn't been Venezuelan for a long time, he has another nationality. Nobody is taking away his right to be a citizen of the world” and he added that the opponent faced with an invasion scenario would join the invading army and not the patriot army.

“We have said it ad nauseam, anyone who calls for aggression against this country will be treated as an enemy of the Fatherland with all that that means.”
