The former governor of Miranda state, Henrique Capriles Radonsky and the former mayor of the Sucre municipality, Carlos Ocariz, maintained a close relationship with the criminal who flogged Petare, Wilexis Acevedo, alias El Wilexis , said the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.

During the new podcast he hosts with Tania Díaz, Cabello recalled that the guarimbas of the year 2017 began because of a shooting that occurred in Petare and that El Wilexis began on instructions from Ocariz and Capriles.

“Wilexis was a murderer. Let Capriles and Ocariz come to deny that they had ties to him. Then they come to say that it is the government that has a relationship with these gangs, but it is they (the right) who have it,” he said while recalling how in the operation Gideon he linked himself to this criminal to cause violence in the capital.

In addition, Cabello reiterated the complaint about the link between the extreme right and criminal groups, which they use in their attempts to seize power without resorting to electoral means. In this regard, he highlighted the links between El Wilexis and the so-called trains, with Álvaro Uribe, Juan Manuel Santos, Andrés Pastrana, María Corina Machado, David Smolansky, Leopoldo López, Juan Guiadó, Carlos Vecchio, Miguel Pizarro and Julio Borges.
