The commission responsible for the recovery of Lake Maracaibo has collected 165,856 tons of waste to return this aquatic space to the inhabitants of the “land of the beloved sun,” said the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.
During the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, Cabello explained that the Bolivarian Government remains deployed in that entity to ensure the proper functioning of public services, in addition to stressing that all this effort is made “out of love for the Zuliano people”.
In the same way, he highlighted the lack of commitment, on the part of regional authorities, to solve problems in terms of services in the entity. “This is the responsibility of the different levels of government, but it's easier to blame the National Government,” he said.
In this regard, he stressed that most of the reports received through 1 x 10 of Good Governance are focused on the functioning of public services, so the different government bodies are committed to offering solutions in this regard.
“The National Government is not going to remove the body, wherever there is a problem there the Government will be responding in public services, in health, in education, wherever,” he said while asking the PSUV to accompany these tasks because it is the “common denominator in the state.”
