Diosdado Cabello: Neighborhoods are spaces of peace!

During program number 512 of Con El Mazo Dando, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the neighborhoods of Venezuela are spaces of peace and not of violence as the extreme right wants to plague and show.

“Neighborhoods are spaces of peace, of tranquility; neighborhoods are for enjoyment, there are sectors where they set up rumbas but no one messes with anyone,” he said.

He recalled that during the Fourth Republic in the popular areas of Caracas, crime killed even for stealing shoes, while since 2016 the Bolivarian Government has been working to neutralize crime in the country.

“President Nicolás Maduro in his Annual Message said that since 2016 there have been 56 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants to four homicides per 100,000 inhabitants. We are a happy people and we will continue to be so,” he stressed.
