Diosdado Cabello: On May 25, peace won throughout the national territory

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the swearing-in ceremony of the governor elected in the state of Monagas, Ernesto Luna, said that on May 25, peace won throughout the national territory.

In this regard, he explained that in the fifth line of government to be consolidated is the “fight for peace, justice, against drug trafficking, corruption and terrorism”, while adding that on May 25, “the CNE (National Electoral Council) said: 'Here Ernesto Luna won, the deputies won, the legislators won', but he lacked a result to announce: Peace won throughout the national territory”.

He also highlighted the work that the State has done against those extremists who called for invasions, burned police modules and health centers, because “we have been doing it, acting on the basis of this Constitution. Here there will be justice !”

With regard to criminal gangs, he specified that they will be dismantled “wherever they go, wherever they are; we will all guarantee the peace of this country together.”
