Diosdado Cabello: Our people with conscience have learned to identify fascism and combat it

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stressed that the bill Against Fascism and Neofascism and other similar expressions will be a legal instrument to prevent these extreme and violent currents from being reproduced in Venezuela.

“After the initiative of the National Government to present this bill to the National Assembly, the parliamentary urgency was requested, it was presented in the first discussion and it was approved, and will be carried out by the Committee on Internal Policy, which will be responsible for involving the People of Venezuela in that debate,” he said.

Regarding the importance of this legal instrument for Venezuelans, Cabello reiterated the need to combat fascist and neofascist currents that must be defeated united in all fields.

He added that the maturity of the Venezuelan people has become evident as they take up the discussion and debate on Human Rights.

“The people here have been told that only those who govern violate human rights, and those who burned people alive or cut their throats with death traps, what is this behavior called? Fortunately, that is changing with the conscience of the People,” said the leader of the PSUV.
