Diosdado Cabello: Repentance is valid, but justice must prevail and not impunity

Diosdado Cabello, first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, assured that personal repentance is valid, but that does not mean that justice will not act.

“Personal repentance is one thing and the functioning of justice is another, there should be no more impunity,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando program.

He stressed that those involved in conspiracies to overthrow the Government of Venezuela, as well as its armed vanguard in the so-called “commandos” face serious accusations for acts of terrorism and hate defined in the Law.

“All the damages committed have to be paid, we are going to wait if Sayona brings them something,” he said, referring to the destruction committed by the commandos against public and private property after the National Electoral Council presented the results in which Nicolás Maduro was projected to be the winner of the electoral race.
