Diosdado Cabello, first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), during his Con El Mazo Dando program, on the 21st anniversary of the founding of the Bolivarian University of Venezuela, stressed that this work of the Bolivarian Revolution put an end to the privatization tendency of the governments of the Fourth Republic.

Commander Chávez began with the Ribas Mission, thanks to the collaboration of the Cuban government and Fidel Castro, and today we graduate 341,000 young people from high school and all of them have their place guaranteed at university, but that was not the case before because at that time there was no place in public universities that gave rise to high school committees with no space,” emphasized the Chavista deputy.

He added that many of the high school graduates without a quota were arrested and disappeared for asking to enter universities, in a number greater than 10,300 young people, of whom 3,000 have not yet appeared because of a policy of systematic annihilation of the governments of the Fourth Republic.
