The extreme right and imperialism are using technology at the highest level to show that there is repression in the country even though today there is no demonstration in the streets, said the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.
During the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, he assured that the right wing and the international media maintain the discourse that there are protests in Venezuela to justify their actions against the nation and cover up a coup d'etat that is under way in the country.
“There is a reality here and that is that Maduro won on 28-J and that is not going to be changed with the networks. We can say that the coup d'etat is continuous, but we are overcoming it,” he stressed, while stating that violent groups tried to storm the Miraflores Palace on July 29 to generate deaths and blame the Revolutionary Government.
In this regard, he reiterated that justice will reach all those who are involved in acts of violence promoted by the extreme right in the country. “Now they want to say that these are political prisoners. No, they are not political prisoners, they are terrorists and justice must be taken care of,” I stress.
“They are not going to overthrow the government using TikTok, here is a people who are willing to defend the Revolution. Venezuela will continue to be a territory of peace and the vanguard of the entire world,” he reiterated.
