Diosdado Cabello: The new structure of the party will go down in history

This Thursday, November 06, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that the tasks entrusted must be carried out “with love, joy, dedication and enthusiasm, as Chavistas always do.”

“Let it be a process that takes place in Santa Paz, we know how to do things and we do them well, this new structure of the party will go down in history,” said Cabello, referring to the task of forming the new Bolivarian Integral Based Committees.

During the PSUV press conference, he recalled that the lines approved during the Congress are part of the actions to continue advancing in the consolidation of the Revolution.

In addition, he specified that among the fundamental tasks, the strengthening of Social Movements in the territory and the consolidation of the new system of Popular Government stand out.

“The People demand transparency (...) if you don't serve to serve people, if you don't serve to listen to people, you're not accepting office,” he said and pointed out that the People are always right and that's why you have to listen to them and attend to them.

He also stressed that among the lines is also the simplification of the vice-presidencies of the National Directorate to a general secretariat and seven secretaries; as well as that of organizing and strengthening the capacity to move from unarmed struggle to armed struggle and to promote communication and international struggle every day.

In addition, he added that as an extra point, it was unanimously approved to authorize President Nicolás Maduro Moros to make decisions related to the transformation and reorganization of the party.
