Diosdado Cabello: There is no age to defend the Homeland with love and dignity

This Tuesday, November 4th, the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that today the Venezuelan people have demonstrated that there is no age to defend the Homeland, with love and dignity, against the threats of North American imperialism.

“Today Venezuela is rejuvenated, because today there is no age of any kind to defend the Homeland; if it is 80, 70 or 20 years old they enlist in defense of the Fatherland, there is no age to establish a position of dignity and love for our country,” he said during the Extraordinary Plenary of the V Congress of the PSUV and the Youth of the PSUV.

He recalled that President Nicolás Maduro, faced with threats from imperialism, the first thing he did was to call for strengthening national unity and the incorporation into the ranks of the Militia of our Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) for the defense of the Homeland.

He stressed that this call was answered both by the militant people and by those who have nothing to do with politics. “They have taken a very firm position here in defense of sovereignty, independence and our Homeland, that has been evidenced in many acts,” he reaffirmed.
