The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed the importance of explaining to boys and girls the reality of what happened in the country, noting that this Monday the new school period began throughout the national territory.

“Today classes are starting all over the country, after the December holidays with the reality of what happened in Venezuela, with our boys and girls still in a situation (...) of sadness, of fear, which is something that we must overcome with our children,” he said during a PSUV press conference.

In that regard, he emphasized that the Ministry of Education has created a special program to explain to children what happened in Venezuela, referring to the recent attack by the United States (USA) against the country.

“Because it is likely that a child from the state of Táchira has not heard what happened in Venezuela, but the children of Caracas, La Guaira, Miranda did, they did feel what happened in our country, and to them we must explain to them what happened, why they did it, the consequences and above all the firm decision that we must continue to advance in Revolution with Bolivar as the north ours,” he said.

He also confirmed that the Father of the Fatherland is “the North, South, East and West of Venezuelans, (Simon) Bolívar, that is the reason for everything, the struggles of that time are the struggles of now, who want to seize the natural resources of our country”.
