Diosdado Cabello: Venezuela is not giving up and our people will continue to stand!

The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, broadcast a special Con El Mazo Dando program this Wednesday, January 7, to inform the People and confirm that, despite criminal attacks by the United States (USA) against the country and the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and the First Combatant, Cilia Flores, “Venezuela is not giving up!”

“This country does not give up, this country does not give up, it is a homeland with history and legacy,” he emphasized during broadcast 557, from where he urged the unity of all Venezuelans for the defense of Venezuela regardless of their political color.

“The Homeland demands us more united than ever, because the threats are not only against Chavism, they are against the Fatherland,” he summoned while recalling the capacity of the Venezuelan people to overcome adversities throughout their history of struggles for their sovereignty and independence.

“The world knows that this people have risen from adverse situations, as much as that earthquake in which Father (Simon) Bolívar said that 'if nature gets in the way we will fight against it and make it obey us, '” he recalled.

In this regard, he stressed that, despite the severe coup carried out criminally and artfully by North American imperialism against the Homeland, “Venezuela will continue to stand and this people will continue to stand.”

The narrative of the United States is collapsing

The also sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace pointed out that after the kidnapping of President Maduro and the first female combatant Cilia Flores, the U.S. government has entered a difficult position because it could not sustain the campaign of lies that they used to justify their actions against the People and Government of Venezuela.

“There is not a single real accusation against President Nicolás Maduro, they are inventions!” , noted and pointed out that proof of this is the recent dismissal of the existence of the Cartel of the Suns, which was an argument used from the beginning by the US prosecutor's office to accuse the national president.

In this regard, he drew attention to what the presidents of right-wing governments in the region will do, who issued resolutions to declare the Cartel of the Suns a terrorist organization, which the United States has already declared as non-existent.

“Did those governments condemn the Cartel of the Suns, what will they do now with their resolution? Will they retract? Because the U.S. government has already recognized that this criminal organization does not exist. They give someone else's pity!” , he noted.

Cabello highlighted the efforts that President Nicolás Maduro has always made for peace in the face of US militarism and interventionism in his quest to seize Venezuelan wealth.

“Nicolás is the man of peace, Nicolás is the President of peace, how many calls, how many real demonstrations did President Nicolás Maduro make,” he stressed and insisted on the call for unity despite differences .

“It is good to send a message to our people, a loving message and for the record that I am talking to the people of Venezuela everything, no matter where you live; if it is the highest residential area in Venezuela and you believe that your economic condition makes you superior or if you live on the banks of a river, but you live happily, no matter what religion you profess or your political militancy (...) This is the only country we have, we don't have another one and we haven't stolen anything from anyone and rather they've always stolen from us, ” he said.

They're not going to beat us down

The Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace emphasized the resilience and strength of the People to overcome difficulties throughout their history of battles for sovereignty and independence against powerful empires.

“They are not going to break us down, this people know what they have to do. This is a people that, in the midst of any circumstance, have been able to move forward,” he said and recalled that both President Maduro and Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez had warned of these actions against the Homeland.

“Commander Chávez left a story in this country and he always warned about it. Commander Chávez said that they would use the Norwegian formula and that of Iraq (with weapons of mass destruction),” he recalled.

There are no bombs, it only kills Chavistas.

Finally, he pointed out that these devious attacks against Venezuela and its people have made it clear that the objective of imperialism is to seize the wealth of Latin American nations regardless of their political status.

“That oligarchy that is angry against the people of Venezuela and has been slow by the oligarchies of America, of our America, of the great Homeland, to understand that there are no bombs, it only kills Chavistas, imagine an atomic bomb, there's nothing left! Here in our country they dropped bombs,” he warned.

Faced with this, he called on the Venezuelan people not to give in to positions of hate because “that opposition expects them to take a dose of poison and those of us who die will be others.”

“From that hate, from that poison, we cannot be contaminated,” he said.
