Diosdado Cabello: Venezuela is not going to stop, we will keep moving forward!

This Monday, January 19, the
general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV),
Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that, despite the difficulties, the country will continue to
move forward and will not stop, noting that he reviewed together with the members of the management of the red awning
the tasks to be carried out.
“Therefore, we continue to review all the tasks
we have in the face of the situation that our country has, forced by
circumstances beyond our control, to the will of our
constitutional president Nicolás Maduro Moros. Venezuela is not going to stop,
Venezuela is still moving forward,” he said during the PSUV press conference.
He also recalled that today marks the 17th
day since the vile kidnapping of President Maduro, and of the first lady, Cilia Flores
. “Kidnapped, subjected to a prisoner of war situation, in the
midst of an attack against our country, he was taken in a condition of kidnapping,” he reported.
He reaffirmed that, in the face of this situation, the People have
remained mobilized throughout the country to demand the release of the Head
of State and his wife. “We have had activities every day, on the street,
together with our people, social movements, political organizations and
institutions; everywhere the mobilized people, demanding the
return of our brother Nicolás and Cilia,” he said.
In addition, he emphasized that, within the framework of this
mobilization agenda, an extraordinary day was held over the weekend in which
men, women, boys, girls and young people from all over the country wrote letters
to the President and the First Combatant.
With regard to the party's activities, he specified that this week will continue to be very active, noting that it includes the commemorative events of January 23.
“We claim it as a beautiful feat of the People, of the People united in defense of their country and who were betrayed,” he said and specified that what the country experienced during the puntofixism was terrible, recalling that at that time 11,000 young people were murdered and disappeared, of whom 3,000 are still missing today.
