Diosdado Cabello: We destroyed a drug trafficking shipyard in Delta Amacuro

This Sunday, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), in a joint operation with State security forces, dismantled a shipyard for the production of semi-submersibles and vessels used by drug trafficking organizations for the transfer of drugs, said the sector's vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

During a press conference held this Monday, he explained that the said shipyard was detected in the Delta Amacuro state, thanks to an anti-drug operation that has been carried out in that entity.

“We hired some Colombian citizens, experts in fiber, to make these boats, they are talking about who carried them,” he said.

On the other hand, he repudiated any attempt to link Venezuela to drug trafficking when operations are being carried out throughout the country to combat this scourge.
