Diosdado Cabello: We will continue to win elections with Chávez forever!

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, emphasized that revolutionary forces will always continue to win electoral processes, highlighting the ability of the supreme leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Commander Hugo Chávez, to communicate with his people.

“We will always continue to win elections with Chávez,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando program, on its 467th broadcast, where he stressed that at the close of the 2012 presidential campaign, “you felt the strength of the people there and that Chávez, who was able to make everyone sing.”

“That capacity, as Fidel (Castro) said, to communicate with people is too weak,” he said.

As an example, Cabello mentioned that during one of the visits to the interior of the country, in one of the villages, Commander Chávez required a bath and was welcomed by a family in his house, whose position was one of Democratic Action (AD) militants.

“But today, they are all Chavistas, so that you can see what the power of the word, of leadership and of being a true hope does,” he stressed.

He argued that Commander Chávez “if he puts us to swear, we all swear and he puts us to go, and he puts us to win elections.”
